Sudharsan C Premkumar is a highly skilled software engineer with over 9 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, Sudharsan has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Before joining Google, Sudharsan worked at Qualcomm as a Software Engineer, where he designed and implemented several control path features to configure Android for communication with the modem and the network. He also proposed and implemented a new architecture to handle modem restart and boot up sequence of a key userspace daemon. Sudharsan verified key Linux data features during bring-up of Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 210 processors and defined a grammar for log messages from within Linux data modules. He also mentored a couple of freshmen interns to build a tool that understands this grammar and generates call flows from the logs. Sudharsan's previous experience also includes an internship at Oracle, where he conceived and implemented rules for auditing the code base to improve code compliance. He also analyzed and benchmarked several code review tools leading to their integration in the code review process. Sudharsan holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MSc in Software Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
